The owners of SOMA Brewing: Adam Heydt, Bianca Froelich, Chris Froliech & Farnaz Heydt

Ellen’s Silkscreening recently had the opportunity to work for a new company based in New Jersey!

The SOMA Brewing Co. started as an idea between four friends who wanted to create a local business that would become a part of their community.

The new business is named after the community it serves in the South Orange and Maplewood area in New Jersey; they are the first producers of craft beer in the area.

SOMA Brewing recently hosted an Octoberfest fundraiser, where they collected over $7,500 for the Vanessa Pollack Music Initiative. The VPMI is an organization in the same neighborhood as SOMA Brewing that provides lessons and instruments to students studying music in the South Orange and Maplewood school district.

Ellen’s Silkscreening had the exciting challenge of putting together a suite of products for the new business.

We helped SOMA Brewing choose perfect pub glasses, single use plastic cups for their event, and even coasters. Ellen’s also embroidered hats and printed t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts in a specialty ink to give them a distinct look and feel.
